Guest Blogger Kasey Moone Celebrates Her New Release!!

Hiya folks, please welcome guest blogger and fellow author, Kasey Moone. Kasey has a new release today (Congrats to girl!)  you really need to check out. If you haven't added her fantabulous books to your TBR list, what are you waiting for? You really should do so now. I've read all of Kasey's books and I'm definitely a fan.

Blurb:
Henrietta “Rita” Evans has always been known as the quiet, black girl on campus, some folks even nicknaming her “Mute” in jest. And she doesn’t expect much out of her Winter Break at Edson College, but an equally quiet environment. Until a member of the white campus elite starts running behind her dormitory late at night. Starts warning her to stay away from him and the woods. Starts making her feel more alive than she’s felt in a very long time…

Something is happening to Sal. Something he can’t control. Something threatening his last year of college and family’s werewolf heritage. And what’s worse, a quiet, mocha beauty can’t seem to mind her own business, tempting him at every turn. Who cares if she has the sweetest lips he’s ever tasted? Who cares if her scent drives him mad? He has to keep her at a distance, for much more is at stake than the heat blazing between them.

And if he doesn’t put it out, they’ll both burn…
Campus Touch Excerpt

Flames engulfed Rita’s cheeks as she looked up and saw Sal Kellerton staring at her from across the lawn. Her heartbeat raced. Palms got sweaty. With firm determination, she ignored the heat rolling in her belly, and glanced away, feeling more exposed than she’d ever been in her life. A flush came over her, and she stumbled back a bit, suddenly confused. It was the same feeling she’d experienced a day ago during her conversation with Jane, except it was much stronger in his raw, masculine presence. She shook her head to dispel the feeling. Her glasses toppled to her nose, and she quickly fixed them. What was happening to her? Was sleep deprivation frying her brain cells?
Nervously, she swallowed and looked up to find him still staring at her. As if on their own accord, her gaze slid down his lean body, taking in his massive thighs, muscular arms, and tone middle. Weathered jeans clung to his sinewy frame, and his dark hair was pulled back from an angular face with a strong jawline. He was beyond attractive, and she wasn’t quite sure how to deal with that. Next to him, the surrounding men seemed puny and miniscule, like hobbits. Rita sighed heavily. Darn-it, she was no good around hot men!
Fortunately, Jane and her posse spotted him at the same time and saved her from thinking. The group fell into silence.
“Wow, look at him,” one said, awestruck. “Looking good.”
“Which one is that?”
“That’s Sal. The quiet one. He was in my Art Appreciation class last year.”
“And did ya’ll have some study sessions?”
“I wish!”
“I want that boy,” said another.
“Girl, you can have him after I’m done with him.”
“You slut.”
“What?”
“You heard me. Slut!”
They giggled, and Rita fought the urge to smack the silly women. Anger lashed through her at the thought of one of them touching him. It didn’t make sense! Where had this possessive jealously come from? She’d always been a pretty easy going girl, but the thought of one of the gossipy heffas touching this particular Kellerton was making her see red. She’d beat the shit out of them. Didn’t make sense…going toe-to-toe with the silly women because of some harmless flirting.
Rita, get it together.

The Next Big Thing Blog Hop

I was invited by the lovely ViviDumas to join this blog hop and have invited four more wonderful authors to participate. Please, stop by and enjoy the fun!

I'm giving you a quick peek at my upcoming release Diamond Mine. This is a futuristic story of love between a human slave and her alien master.

What is the working title of your book?

Diamond Mine

Where did the idea come from for the book?

From my muse...don't tell her but she's a slave driver!

What genre does your book fall under?

Futuristic/Sci fi

Which actors would you choose to portray your characters in a movie?

I'd choose Hugh Jackman and Sanaa Lathan to play Calen and Lithia (Diamond)

What is a one sentence synopsis of your book?

Can a human slave and her alien master find love on planet Tares?

Will your book be self published or represented by an agency/publisher?

I am self publishing Diamond Mine

How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?

It took me several weeks until I felt comfortable enough to pursue publishing this piece

What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?

I'm unsure. I haven't read any other futuristic books. I'm just on a science fiction kick lately.

Who or What inspired you to write this book?

Besides my muse, my significant other because he loves me unconditionally.

What else about your book might interest the reader?

I think readers will be interested in my heroine, Lithia. She's a slave who has been mistreated not only by the alien overseers, but by humans too, simply for befriending and falling in love with a young Taresnian warrior. She sought to change how the Taresnians mistreated slaves. When that didn't work, she adapted to her situation and never gave up hope while trying to protect her fellow humans even though they cared nothing for her.

Thanks so much for hanging out with me at my blog to learn more about Diamond Mine. Please visit the ladies below next Wednesday, 12/12/12 to check out their works in progress!

New Release ~ Ghosts of Lassiter Towers

Good morning and Happy Monday to you! Ghosts of Lassiter Towers has been released on All Romance Ebooks and is available in PDF, LIT, Mobi, and ePub.  It is also available on Amazon

Blurb:

Thrust into financial hardship after a bad investment, Annette and Anthony Bruzzetti are forced to live with his mother, Miriam, until they pull themselves up by their bootstraps. Fed up with Lady Barracuda’s nitpicking, Annette is finally triumphant in talking hubby to moving across the wrong side of the tracks to Lassiter Towers… a place harboring it's own deadly secrets.

After spending just a few nights in their home, Annette draws the attention of a ghost, and she soon learns the mysterious secret that dwells in the hole in the wall down in the boiler room.

 Sizzling Excerpt:

Annette Bruzzetti sighed as her husband, Anthony, drew her closer to his muscular body. She moaned as his erect cock pressed into the small of her back. Exploring her smooth skin with his fingertips, he began to deliver delicate kisses along the crook of her neck.
“Mmm,” she whispered when he reached around, gently squeezing her nipple. “What time is it?” Annette wiggled even closer to him and squeezed her husband’s hand tightly.
“It’s about five o’ clock, baby.” Anthony buried his face into her hair, breathing in deep and let out a moan. “I love that new shampoo you’re using, babe.” He curled the black strands around each of his hands.
“Damn. It’s raining out today and I’m so glad to be off. Please tell me we’ll finally get to spend some time with each other.” She glanced at the large bay style windows of the six by nine bedroom.
She loved the large, comfortable plush bedroom with cathedral ceilings and oak hardwood floors. Before moving in, she and Anthony had painted the room a beautiful eggshell white.
“I don’t have to go in to the hospital until late tonight, so we’ve got the entire day together. Maybe we can play for the next couple of hours,” he suggested while pressing himself against her.
“What game shall we play?” she asked with a purr while her husband continued the seductive exploration of her naked flesh.
“The same one we played last night.” The words tumbled out in a husky rush. “Only, we need to keep it down a bit because I think Ma’s awake.” Slowly his hand slid down the front of her body, eventually settling between her thighs.
Annette shuddered as she released a breath. She stretched her thighs apart to better accommodate Anthony’s large hand. Thick fingers explored the slick folds of her cunt, but there was one spot where she desired him most. “Squeeze my clit, baby, and finger my pussy,” she demanded.
He laughed. “We’re giving instructions now?” He nipped her on the neck. “I’ll have to punish you for that. Maybe break out the handcuffs?”
Before she could speak, he turned her over onto her stomach and firmly pressed himself against her body, pinning her between him and the mattress. “I think I like this game.”
“I’m too impatient. Besides, the cuffs are probably lost in all the sheets.” Anthony chuckled and gyrated against her a few times before drawing her arms above her head.
