Promoting Your Backlist

Hey there. I hope you all have had an enjoyable week, it's almost over and I'm looking forward to the weekend.

As you all know I love to host authors who write in various genres in the industry. I've also found some wonderful new books this way too. But before I get off track, I was in the process of promoting my newest release, Ensnared when I thought about my backlist. I know you all can relate that we sometimes focus on promoting our new releases so hard, we tend to forget about the older books. Why is that? LOL  There are many readers out there that probably haven't been introduced to your older titles, and may only be familiar with your new work, as there are a plethora of authors. So why not talk about those older releases on your blog, or an author interview, or even tweet a few enticing lines?  Let's make this a weekly thing.

I have two upcoming titles coming from Evernight Publishing, Lucinda and When Worlds Collide and let me tell you, I'm anxiously awaiting the cover art! So, I'm going to spotlight my vampire romance, Black Dawn.

I'd almost forgotten how well I connected with Dane and Dar when I wrote this story. Dane is my wise-cracking hybrid fae vampire who's a little rough around the edges and totally alpha. Dar, my heroine is sassy and not afraid of him as she ventures into the newly defunct human realm to find her sister, Zari.

Blurb:

Dar learns the king plans to close the portal to the human realm. To make matters worse, her sister is in the now defunct world. Risking everything, she slips into the human world and meets up with a vampire. However, his assistance comes with a price…
Dane is a loner and has his own ass to worry about. He should have never fallen for the sheltered fairy with the bedroom eyes, but she’s stolen his heart. He reluctantly agrees to help the little vixen, but at what cost?
The vampire and the fairy are from two different worlds, but they soon realize just how much they mean to each other.

Excerpt:
Dar eavesdropped on her father’s conversation involving the vampires taking over the human realm. Her mother had informed her that eavesdropping would one day introduce her to something she wasn’t ready to grasp. She swallowed hard and cringed. Today was that day.
Her father, Cyrus, his second in command, Thom, and King Zurion spoke in hushed tones. The large wooden double doors had been left ajar. Thankful for that unnoticed mistake, she stood in the small juncture off to the left of the king’s meeting chambers.
I’m sorry, but we’re still unable to zero in on the exact location where your daughter is being held.” Thom focused his gaze on the king. “We need more time to find her.”
We’ve wasted enough time and energy on this matter. “ King Zurion’s voice thundered through the air like a harrowing storm. “If we don’t seal the portals leading to the human realm, we’ll put everyone at risk.”
Cyrus knelt on one knee and bowed his head. “I beg of you. Please allow me time to find my eldest daughter. If you seal the portals now, she’ll be trapped there forever. Zari balances the dark, just as my youngest, Dar, balances the light. Neither can be recreated.”
“True.” Zurion spoke harshly. “She cannot be recreated, but even if they should cease to exist, that will have no bearing on our world continuing to exist. ”Dar’s fist tightened at the king’s cruel words. She often wondered how her father continued to serve such an asinine ruler. “How can you say that?” Cyrus’s voice was strained and Dar knew her father fought to contain his anger. She wished he’d give Zurion a piece of his mind. “She is my child!”
Zurion’s tone was emotionless. “I sense the vampires are utilizing her powers to bring forth darkness in the human world. Don’t you see, it is the only way to preserve Sychuria? The human population has dwindled greatly, and we can no longer protect the humans the way we used to. They have willingly submitted to the vampires.”
Cyrus stiffened and worry graced his face. “So what you’re telling me is my daughter is expendable?”
I’m sorry, but—it is what it is.” The king stroked his beard and frowned. “This is a most unfortunate matter we’re experiencing. You know as well as I that we cannot risk saving one while placing the entire community in danger.”
Please. I’ll do whatever it takes.”
Dar placed a hand over her mouth to stifle a sob. It broke her heart to hear the sorrow in her father’s voice, but deep down inside, anger began to blossom. She grew tired of the hold the king had on their people.
King Zurion sighed. “Lucky for you I’m taking into consideration the honorable service you have done for me, but you will have no more than three days' time to locate Zari. If you do not find her by then, I’m closing the portal, with or without you and your daughter.” The king continued stroking his long white beard. “Do I make myself clear?”
Cyrus nodded. “As clear as rainwater.”
Very well. Go on, you have my permission to continue the search. But remember the time frame!”

* * **

When Cyrus and Thom exited Zurion’s chambers, Dar approached them. She knew it would take most of her energy to convince her father to come along. In case he denied her, she had a backup plan to take care of him.
I’m going with you,” she blurted out stubbornly as they walked down the long corridor. “I heard what King Zurion said.” She shook her head sadly. “I can’t believe he would abandon Zari like that.”
You’d be wise to listen to your father,” Thom suggested as he strode along proudly by Cyrus’s side.
Cyrus grabbed her by the arm and pulled her into a corner.  “Thom, meet me outside the gate.” Thom nodded and left them.
You’ll go back to your chambers and wait for me to bring Zari back. I’ve told you no good will ever come of you listening in on conversations.”
She watched as beads of sweat erupted on his smooth mocha skin. Ignoring her father’s remark and his piercing brown eyes, Dar pulled from his grasp and stood her ground. “Take me with you. I can help find Zari.”
“You’re such a pig-headed child!” Cyrus snorted. “You make me look bad in the eyes of our king! Why do you try so hard to defy me?” Her father sucked in a quick breath and if looks could kill, she knew she’d be dead.
Cyrus lowered his voice. “I didn’t tell the king this, but Zari left of her own accord. She wanted to see what the human realm was all about. I forbade her to go and she defied me!”
“Okay, I’m sure she didn’t have your permission, but you shouldn’t hold that against her. We’ve never cared for Zurion’s strict rules! He speaks for the people, and anyone who speaks against him is shunned. It’s not right and you know it.”
It’s against the law, what you speak!” Cyrus sputtered. “How many times do I have to keep telling you girls?”
“Exactly!” Dar pointed out. “The law. A law that forbids the inhabitants of Sychuria from venturing to other realms is a stupid law. Making one feel like they must walk on eggshells is not living, but merely existing. We are the living dead.”
“Watch your tongue, young lady.” Cyrus warned.
Oh, so it’s okay to have our free will taken from us? Why do you support him? We’re mere cattle. How can we evolve if we do not explore? Why keep us in unseen bondage?”
“Dar, what you speak is treason and is punishable by death!”
“Father, it is the truth! You know it as well as I!”
“Silence, child! I’ll hear no more of this senseless drivel!” Spittle spew from her father’s lips, he was so angry. For a split second, she believed he’d strike her or turn her in to the king. His eyes spoke volumes. He frightened her, but not enough for her to back down.
I disagree with you, father.” She had to continue to stand her ground. What was the use of existing if one was told what to do and not to do in their free time? She put her hands on her hips and frowned. “Once you find Zari, you’re going to turn her into the king, aren’t you?”
“I’m Zurion’s first in command. I must obey the law, Dar. You know that.”
“Even though you know her punishment? Why do you have to say anything? Just continue to let people think she was kidnapped.”
“Your sister defied me and there are a few who know of this, like Thom. If I do nothing, then I’m sending a message to the entire community that it’s okay for everyone to come and go to the human realms. These laws are in force for a reason! To protect us!”
“Thom is a good friend of yours. You’ve known each other since you were young boys.”
Cyrus shook his head in agitation. “That’s not the point, Dar! Oh, child, I’m wasting my time with you. Please go and find something to do. I hope to be back in less than a day. Whatever happens with Zari....” He held his head down for a few seconds, as though he was battling himself. “She brought it on herself.”
“Why do you expect me to sit back and do nothing? I won’t have her punished.” We are close, and I’ll probably have a better way of finding her than you or your guards. Father. Have you ever stopped to think she doesn’t want to be found?”
Cyrus’s brows furrowed. “You leave me no choice but to lock you away in your chambers. I’ll place two guards outside your door.” He turned his back on her and that was when Dar seized her opportunity after observing they were alone in the great hall.
“I’m sorry to do this, father.” In a split second, she’d placed energy zapping cuffs around her father’s wrists. To ensure he wouldn’t escape, she suspended him within an impenetrable ball, one that would keep him subdued until she returned from the human realm. She had her plan all mapped out. Once she had him safely tucked away in her chambers, she had to plan her escape.

Five Black Roses

Happy Cinco de Mayo everyone!

Blurb:

Exactly at midnight on May 5th, 2006 Mahogany Messeroux cast a spell to obtain the perfect man. She never dreamed the spell would deliver Acacius Montoya, a warrior straight from the Battle of Puebla, Mexico in 1862. For Mahogany, it was love at first sight. But--there is just one problem. The handsome Latino must return to his own time after every Cinco de Mayo and can only be summoned once a year. Five years later she discovers she has the opportunity of saving the man she loves and keeping him in her world on a regular basis, or so she thought.

Acacius Montoya is doomed to repeat the same day at the Battle of Puebla for all eternity thanks to an evil warlock, Maximilian. The ebony bruja intervened just in time to save his soul from The Harvester. But who will save Mahogany from making a mistake that may cause her to miss the spiritual evolvement necessary in shaping her future as a person and a witch?

Excerpt:

Anticipation filled Mahogany Messeroux as she lit the last of the five
candles in preparation for summoning Acacius’ soul. Briefly she looked around her bedroom before casting her glance to the magic circle. The circle was perfect and had been cast with care.
At the stroke of midnight on May 5th, 2011 she'd bring forth her lover, Acacius, from his time of May 5th, 1862. Exactly five seconds before midnight, five drops of her blood would be all she needed to manifest his spirit.
For the past five years, the lovers only had the pleasure of each other’s company one night per year thanks to the cruelty of Maximilian, an evil Austrian warlock. Acacius' spirit had first presented itself exactly five years earlier, the night before Cinco de Mayo. Having become fully acclimated to her new powers as a witch, she'd cast a spell to bring forth the perfect man. Never in her wildest dreams would she have imagined she'd meet one.
Sweat beaded her ebony skin as she closed her eyes to meditate briefly. Tonight would officially be her last chance to save Acacius' soul. If she failed, he'd return to 1862 and would be forever lost to her. She’d known she loved him since the first night she summoned him, and she knew he felt the same.
Over the passing years dreams had presented themselves to her, and then she’d captured visions of her lover's life, saw him forced to repeat the battle every day for all eternity. With the passing of each year, bits and pieces of Acacius' dilemma fit together like pieces to a puzzle that only she could unravel.
* * *
Acacius' chest burned and bile formed in his throat as the harsh blow knocked him from his horse to the ground. Agonizing pain shot through his body as he shifted and rolled away from the hooves of his horse. Death and destruction lay all around him from a fight he'd never win, thanks to the curse of the warlock. The Mexicans should have been victorious over the French; he knew this to be true in his heart. Yet a Mexican victory was not part of the warlock's intentions. He, along with his comrades was being harvested for something—but what?
His spirit, although strong, fought to hold on to the last shreds of sanity and the final moment when he'd find solace in Mahogany's arms. From the first moment he’d laid eyes on the ebony angel, he’d known he loved her. When his comrade was shot dead and fell from his horse, Acacius knew his moment had arrived once again. This was always the scene he was forced to repeat. However, something wasn't right. The events before him seemed to slow before his eyes and Maximilian appeared in front of him, musket in hand.
His eyes never leaving Maximilian's, Acacius rose to his feet as pain racked his body. Ignoring the ache, he tightened his jaw and lifted his head in
defiance. Pure evil emanated from the warlock's eyes, making it seem as though a thousand prickly needles penetrated his skin. His fists tightened when the man spoke.
"Your witch can't save you on this day Acacius," Maximilian said with a snarl, bringing the musket up to fire. "You will be trapped here with me for all of eternity. I promise you this."
"Why not end this tragic suffering? Why torture us? You know the outcome of this battle, why have you changed it?" Rage coursed through his body. Acacius sought vengeance—If only Maximilian were man enough to face him in hand-to-hand combat instead of hiding behind a musket and magic, he knew he'd be the victor. "What can you ever hope to achieve from this act?"
Maximilian had never presented himself to him before this day. Mahogany had warned him last year that the wizard would finally reveal his plan.
Maximilian laughed. "I shall reap many more benefits of delivering all the souls here on this day to the Master. I am and forever shall be the only one to harvest souls.” A cruel smile formed on the madman’s lips.
Before Acacius could speak, Maximilian fired the musket and the bullet emerged in what seemed like slow motion. Suddenly, Acacius felt a strong otherworldly pull at his being, and he could smell Mahogany's perfume. Her voice was like the sweetest music he ever heard. Ah, it had been entirely too long since he’d last heard his angel's voice. "Summonus Halbitris, Sulterne, Bahizm! Summonus Halbitris, Sulterne, Bahizm!"
He'd almost forgotten what she sounded like, with the exception of her voice in his dreams....
Maximilian's face turned into a grotesque mask of hatred when he realized what was happening. Acacius felt himself rising as the warlock continued to fire the musket in vain. The bullets dissipated before Acacius' very eyes. Sending up a prayer of relief, he realized Mahogany must have cast a protection spell; he was sure of it. Tossing the musket aside, the warlock shouted venomous curses while waving his hands, apparently trying to stop what was happening.
"You cannot escape me, Acacius! I will follow and kill you and your witch!"
Feeling slight pressure from Maximilian's spell, Acacius told himself his precious witch had everything covered. Soon after, however, trepidation set in. Something in his gut told Acacius there was no escape.

Author Interview with Shyla Colt

CK: Please welcome author Shyla Colt. Shyla’s books are simply fantastic and I can’t wait to read more of her work.

SC: I just wanted to say thank you to Charisma for having me over.  :)

CK:  You’re welcome sweetie, anytime! Where did you submit your first story? Let’s talk about it!

SC:  Luck was on my side when I submitted my very first piece. I did some research and decided Evernight Publishing was the best fit for my paranormal adventure featuring angels and demons. They’ve been a big bag of wonderful, and I am grateful to be with them.

CK: Ah, that would be Don't Fear the Reaper. Here's the book cover and purchase link.

CK:  Talk to me about What The Heart Knows. That is a favorite of mine. I've read it twice since I purchased it. How did this particular story come to you?

SC:  I could see the character in my head, clearly. Oliver was a lanky, white-blond haired widower still hurting from the loss of his high school sweetheart turned wife a few years prior. When he walks into a tiny café he comes face to face with a new chance at love. It sounds almost sweet, but then my mind, being the twisted place it is, had to put a paranormal spin on it, lol.

CK:  From one twisted mind to another, there’s nothing wrong with twisted. I love the paranormal!!   ; )  What The Heart Knows intrigues me. What characters did you identify with the most? I’m trying hard not to include any spoilers in this interview. I’m curious to know which character other readers identified with and why. It would be nice if you could do a chat for this story in one of the book club groups on Facebook.

SC:  Wow… Oliver. Maybe because I’ve known loss that cuts you soul deep, and that struggle to pick yourself up, and keep putting one foot in front of the other until you actually feel human again.

CK:  It is a great struggling dealing with the loss of a loved one and the healing process takes time. We all mourn in our own way. Poor Oliver mourned for two years until he was finally able to move on. I loved how you put this story together. What is your newest release?

SC:  The Unveiling is my latest. It’s a Sci-fi romance with adventure, star crossed lovers, and genetically altered humans. It explores the question, What would you do if the one who caused years of heart ache is the one person you’re meant to be with forever, and the savior of your people? Could you forgive or would the hurt sour you?  It’s the sequel to The Wanting, and I actually have a trailer… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRyeb5usy3g

CK:  Very nice trailer. I have both books, and I'll be reading them soon. Let’s talk about your upcoming release!

SC:  I have a book releasing March 15th called, Vixen Healed. It’s the second in my Vintage Vixen series, and I’m very excited, because it’s my first Romantic Suspense! This is actually the first time I’ve spoken about it, so here’s a sneak peak at my blurb.

CK:  Awesome, here is the cover for Vixen Claimed which is currently out on all publishing platforms. Now is the time to check this read out before Vixen Healed hits the presses folks.

Blurb: Vixen Healed

Eight years ago Claire’s’ life was shattered when her fiancée lost his life in a robbery protecting her. She’s picked up all the pieces and moved forward when the past returns. One of the robbers has been caught and she’s needed to testify. The feisty roller derby girl agrees with no qualms, but the murders’ partner has plans to silence her for good. She turns to Detective Kelly Quinn to keep her out of harm’s way. The attraction between them gives protective custody a whole new meaning.
Kelly never forgot Claire. He promised her once he’d see the murderous savaged brought to justice and he’s a man of his word. Feelings of protectiveness become passion, and the possibility of the one thing he’s sworn off, love. Can they come together to heal the hurts of the past and carve out a future filled with happiness?

CK:  Okay, another book of yours to add to my TBR pile. That sounds very interesting, thank you for sharing. What are your future goals?

SC:  I’d like to put out longer books, see some of my babies in a bookstore, and attend a convention to CK:  That would be great to see a fellow author’s books on the shelves at Target or Walmart. One day that will definitely happen Shyla. What are your hobbies?

SC:  It sounds cliché, but I honestly do love to read. I also like to travel and listen to music.

CK:  How do you unwind?

SC:  Watch movies/shows, listen to music, and hang out with my family.

CK:  Do you mold your characters strictly from imagination or from those you cross paths with in everyday life?

SC:  Hmm, I think a little bit of both. Sometimes a character comes to me as is, and other times real life sparks a concept.

CK:  Do you allow your muse to take total control, or do you create an outline before writing?

SC:  Funny story… my bestie and I have coined a phrase for the phenomenon of my muse taking the reins, Characters gone Rogue.  I used to be a planner, but I’ve found the best way to go now is to go in with a loose outline, usually in my head, and let the characters show me what’s going to happen. When I write I think of the book as a movie. So I go scene by scene vs. chapter by chapter.

CK:  What methods of research do you utilize? I know, I know! The internet is available, but do you scour the library as well? LOL

SC:  I love research. Even before professional writing my friends called me the “Queen of Research” so I dig deep. Internet, sometimes the library, but more than not I purchase the book, being a stay at home Mom it’s easier for me to buy it and read it on my Nook on my own time usually.

CK:  Inquiring minds what to know, where can you be found on the internet?

SC:  Haha If I told you that, I’d have to kill you…  seriously though, I’m always popping into the Evernight Reader’s group, my blog www.shylacoltsstraightshot.wordpress.com, Facebook, and Pandora, along with a bunch of random other places.. Oh Cant’ forget pinterest, love that place.

CK:  Lmao! Oh yeah, Pinterest is great. What advice would you like to pass on to aspiring authors?

SC:  Never give up. Write, Write, write, share with someone you trust, improve, and submit.

CK: Shyla, I couldn’t agree with you more.

Guest Blogger Jamallah Bergman

Good morning my lovelies! I hope everyone has had a positive week! Please give a warm welcome to my author friend, Jamallah Bergman. Jamallah writes spicy erotic romance.

I've read Special King of Woman and loved it. Unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to read Sorry, Wrong Number, even though I have it. I'd better catch up soon because The Biker Next Door will be out soon! I believed Jamallah just turned in the edits to this one!

Sorry Wrong Number Blurb:

All good things have a beginning and with this story, it all begins with a call. Marcie Reynolds thought nothing of grabbing the phone that evening but she never thought that once she answered and heard the amazing voice on the other end that anything would happen, since the fact that the man had the wrong number.

Jonathan Sutton thought he had the right number and after the second time he calls, he couldn’t help but be enthralled after listening to the sweet voice on the other end. Soon he strikes up a conversation with the girl who calls herself ‘Joan’ and quickly sparks fly.
Watch as Marcie and Jonathan make what seems like something as innocent as a phone call into something that neither one of them will never forget.

EXCERPT

Marcie had come back inside and started cleaning one of the tables in preparation for the next customer. Soon the door opened and a little voice said, “Is Marcie here?” She looked towards the door and saw a little black girl wearing a blue plaid jumper, a white shirt and some black Mary Jane’s with long black hair in pigtails. In her little hand, she had a long stemmed yellow rose. Walking towards the little girl, Marcie said, “I’m Marcie.”
Jonathan could see her from the window at the side of the storefront. Thankfully for him, he could see her reaction when she got the rose. She was even more beautiful than he could ever have imagined. He had all of the children lined up with roses, having given them all instructions on what to do. Peeking through once more, he couldn’t get enough of looking at her. She looked gorgeous, he thought as she stood there wide-eyed. He could tell she was in shock because of the look in her eyes when the little girl asked for her. He thought she looked fantastic even though she was wearing nothing more than a pair of jeans that showed her thick hips, a black T-shirt that hugged her breasts nicely and those lips, my God, he had dreamt of tasting those lips of hers every single night.
“This is for you, ma’am, hope you like it.” And the little girl walked quickly out through the door, leaving Marcie looking perplexed. A second later, another little girl came in and with a smile, handed her another rose and walked out of the diner. Soon another and another little kid came into the diner, all with roses in their hands, a smile, and a greeting of hello. Marcie
laughed as she found herself with an armful of roses and still looking puzzled as to what was going on, she glanced over at Lorraine who was giggling up a storm.
“Do you need some help with those?” Lorraine asked.
“I think so; these thorns are pricking my hands and skin.” Lorraine was helping gather the roses when Marcie heard more footsteps coming inside. She glanced over towards the door once more. Marcie couldn’t believe what she was seeing before her. It was him, her Jonathan, standing before her with a single red rose.
He looked like some kind of god, she thought, as he came towards her with a smile on his face. He was truthful when he’d told her she probably wouldn’t believe him when he described how he actually looked. But he was exactly as he’d said—- dark brown hair that was long against the back of his neck and beautiful hazel eyes that sparkled down on her. He was a big fella, she thought, as he towered over her.
“Hello, Marcie.” His voice was rich and sweet and she closed her eyes, smiling at the sound of him saying her name.
“Can you say that again, just one more time, say my name again?”
He smiled while slowly taking her in his arms to kiss her lips ever so softly. Every part of her body seemed to scream out loud with a yearning she had never felt before in her life. She found herself slowly going limp in his arms as he held her close to him while he kissed her. But eventually he stopped as she opened her eyes for a moment and smiled. “Hello, Marcie.”

Angel Mine by Kassanna

One of my favorite authors, Kassanna Dwight is working on a beautiful angel and demons series. Her first book Angel Mine will be out in a few weeks and I can't wait. I've been intrigued with this story since she hired me to design her cover. I'm even more intrigued after reading the excerpt. I want to learn more:

Blurb:

In an act of unselfishness, Julia suffered atrocities only man could inflict on their fellow man. Death was her punishment for a love freely given. Reborn as angel, she now collects the souls of the dying to escort them to heaven. But the pain of her untimely death lingers and on its anniversary she revisits her home, only to relive her shame.

Uriel saw her over a century ago as she was escorted through the gates of heaven by his brethren Metatron himself. After a while the pull he felt toward her could no longer be denied but even angels have rules and he follows them. Watching, making sure she was safe until his request is approved.

On Christmas Eve he receives word. After a hundred years of silence he could follow through with his plans to make Julia “Angel Mine”
Kassanna is also participating in The Next Big Thing blog hop. Go check her out

Science Fiction

Happy Thursday afternoon peeps. I've decided to run a contest to celebrate my upcoming release, Cyborg2150. This is my first science fiction story, and I hope anyone who reads it will receive it well. These posts are for the contest to win a $25 Amazon gift card, so please leave me a comment. I wanna see what you guys think about what I have to say!
What made me decide to write a science fiction piece?? Well, when I was a child I had a fascination with space, and all the planets. My favorite planets were Saturn and Venus. There was just something about those beautiful rings around Saturn that intrigued me so much. Now mind you, I was a little disappointed that those planets could never support life. Some are too close to the sun while others, well they're just to damned far away.

Also, I often think about what lies beyond our galaxy. Surely we aren't the only ones existing. Somewhere out there, there's another solar system like ours teaming with life. I'm quite sure. We shouldn't be so naive and cocky to believe we're the only ones. And...planets. If there are beings existing on another planet, do they look like us? What type of animals exist on these planets? Is their sun yellow like ours, or red? Hmmm

Now this story of mine originally was about a woman living in the year 2150 when men are scarce. The hero was to be a sexy cyborg and the story was only supposed to be a 15K, but somehow it blossomed into a little over 25K. See, here's another little thought. Will sex toys cease to exist in that year and be replaced with cybernetic lovers? This story has been changed around so much, it's not even funny. Honestly, I could have gone in several different directions and can create another book or two from this.

Cyborg2150 is based lightly on how some people perceive our future. Right now we can only entertain some thoughts about our planet and life on it. Will we exist as human or part cyborg? Will we somehow allow technology and machines to take over? Yeah, I watch Discovery Channel from time to time and the stuff they have on their just captures my attention.

Imagine a world where we no longer have newspapers, plants, and the human population has drastically dwindled from what it is now due to disease, famine, or any other disaster you can think of. It's scary, isn't it?

What if we were to become mere cattle to cyborgs? Are cyborgs evil, or are they as evil as the one who created them? What do you think? Can cyborgs love? Would there be some shadow of the person that existed before they became a cyborg?

Do you think our so-called civilized world is supposed to be the way it is now? I mean, we've come so far in our technology, but unfortunately we have really screwed our planet up. When Earth is no longer inhabitable or we need to leave it for some reason like being overrun by aliens or cyborgs (LMAO) and there was a planet that could sustain life, would you go or submit to those who wish to enslave you? Think about this though. Starting all over from scratch, no technology, absolutely nothing! NO television, I'm talking right down to living off the land, and the planet is healthy.

Okay, that's all I'm posting about today. I'll post again tomorrow and talk a little more about Joe and Dana. Cyborg2150 is an erotic romance based purely on fantasy. Or is it? Seriously though, I just wanted to create a nice world for my characters to play in. The story really focuses on Joe and Dana's relationship.

Also, please don't forget to leave your comments!!

Available Now

Working side by side with a man possessing the God-given ability to melt the panties off you with a glance can prove to be a challenging task…

Wanda Taylor loves her job at Loretech. She’s a valued employee and co-worker who extends above and beyond her call of duty, which is the very reason why she’s been denying her feelings for her boss and Vice President. That was, until one fateful day in the LAN room. With an extra push from John, she decides to take a chance…
John Murphy has had his sights set on the Wanda since the day she started working for him three years ago. And, for three years she’d avoided him like the plague. Of course, there were times he'd caught the Nubian goddess eying him up when she didn't think he'd notice. She was slick, he'd give her that. He waited patiently for her to make the first move, but she never did.
It was frustrating that she only spoke to him and made eye contact when they were discussing work. Whenever he tried re-directing discussions to something like a movie, baseball, or football, she'd clam up and simply dismiss him. He sometimes enjoyed the cat-and-mouse game, but now it was time to get down to business. He wanted her—all of her, and he was determined to manifest that desire into reality.
