Cyborg2150 Now Available

Good morning and Happy Saturday to you folks!! Today is release day for my first futuristic piece and I'm really excited. I love writing and enjoy the publishing aspect of the industry just as much. So, it was a rush for me. I've been awake all night and feel like I'm walking on air. LOL

Blurb

Joe Willis sacrifices his life to help rescue trapped humans and teleporting them to Sirtus, a planet resembling Earth. The plan was to rescue as many as possible and return to Earth for his wife.

Dana Willis has a bad feeling about her husband’s mission as she reluctantly sees him off. The human population has been decimated thanks to the rebellion of fourth generation cybernetic organisms. Despite her doubts, she stays behind to aid in coding a program that will hopefully overthrow The Legion once and for all.

Before his demise, Dana and Joe agreed to the mind transference that will re-animate him, but how well will she adapt to her “cyborg” husband when they are reunited a month after his death? In their quest to teleport to Sirtus, she also discovers another shocking secret her husband harbored when he was a flesh and blood man.

Excerpt:

Chapter One

Tears welled in her eyes before Dana Willis’ husband, Joe, headed for the hovercraft. They kissed for several moments. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see their close friends, Serena and Michael locked in a strong embrace.
Joe smiled at her as his fingers gently brushed away the tears she wept. “Don’t you cry for me,” he insisted as he flashed her a solemn grin. “I’ll be seeing you again soon.”
But, could he keep his promise? A flash of anger lit her insides at how brave of a man her husband was. She loathed the cybernetic government and despised the wars erupting in almost every corner of the world.
Cybernetic organisms had become a raging plague to some areas of Earth. The rebels were sent in to disassemble the cyborgs and rescue the small bands of starving humans trapped along the Northern walls.
“Remind me why you’re doing this again?” she asked. Yes, she knew why he was doing it, but she was trying to be strong. She knew in her heart, this was the right thing for him to do. She also knew deep down, this would probably be the last time she saw him…alive.
“We must wipe these inhuman bastards from the face of the Earth. I refuse to rest until I take a substantial amount down.”
“Even if it means your life?”
Joe nodded. “Whatever it takes.” His gaze was hard. “I love you, Dana. I will always love you. Please, know that.”
She needed to confess her feelings. “Why does this feel like goodbye?” Her gut twisted in sheer agony and she looked away. She needed to stay behind to aid in coding the programs needed to sustain the fifth generation cyborgs and help to develop the virus that would annihilate The Legion once and for all.
He placed a finger beneath her chin, forcing her gaze to return to his.

LATEST RELEASE FROM AMIRA PRESS

MUSIC FOR HER SOUL

BLURB:
Single mom Lena Spencer is showing her sexy side for the first time in a life that has revolved around an aggressive pursuit of her PhD and learning to live without the father of her daughter, Ethan Holden. Returning to town after a ten month tour with the single goal in mind to reclaim Lena’s heart, Ethan gives his greatest performances--musical and otherwise.

EXCERPT:

Lena shook her head and wove through the cluttered space of chairs and tables, which doubled as Calliope’s dance floor to the one large, round table Bryan positioned at the front of the stage for her entourage. She sat on the aisle next to Juan Carlos. Marian and Jasmine rounded out the table with seats for their large, glittering bags.

A nervous energy flowed through her as Bryan adjusted the mike. She clasped one of Juan Carlos’s bulky hands. “They’ll be fine,” he assured her. “They have a wonderful teacher.”

She leaned on his shoulder, thankful for her family’s support. Out of the corner of her eye, she could see Marian blowing her a kiss. They’ll be fine. I’ll be fine.

“Tonight, we have the jazz chorale of Hamilton College with us so give these talented young people a Calliope’s welcome. The future of jazz music is right here.” The crowd clapped.

The house lights dimmed to darkness and Bryan’s disembodied voice sounded through the room. “First up tonight is one of my old friends.” A distant low moan warbled through the still air, stuttering her heart. “He’s pulling out the horn tonight, y’all. Mr. Ethan Holden…” Finally, her heart sputtered to a jolting stop.

The horn pealed above her, causing her to tremble beneath its melancholy weight. Her song wailed above the strains of the piano and the gentle swish of cymbals. The song he had written for her, played for her the night he told her he loved her. Their song.

Bastard! Why wouldn’t he let her go? Any effort to turn away was thwarted by the draw of the brilliant white spotlight following his solitary figure mounting the steps to the stage. He looked resplendent in the simple shirt unbuttoned past his collarbone, stretching over his taut chest and falling unfettered to his tapered waist. His jeans wrapped snugly around his slim hips as he stood with his legs spread slightly apart, his back arching backward. His fingers masterfully tapped the trumpet’s keys, making it sing a song that exploded a scorching, shameless lust within her.

He steadily fingered the instrument, resonating tones that wrapped her body in a cocoon of deliciously illicit memories of what had taken place that first night. She brought a finger to her mouth and glided it over the smooth edges of her teeth, suckled it, and grazed it over her arid lips. He had taken her breath away and he was doing it now. Any resistance she once had coupled willingly with the notes of his siren song and floated away.

Entranced and on the verge of an old-fashioned swoon, she was saved by the sharp piano chords. “Gone boy, whoo…whoooo!” a woman’s voice rang out, and the crowd burst into thunderous applause as Ethan bowed to the pianist and stepped to the rear of the stage.

She could have run to him right then. Damn the show, damn the crowd. But he hadn’t loved her enough to come back for her, his most important obligation. She twisted in her seat, relieving the ache that stirred between her crossed legs.

Her head swam and she sank back into her chair, unable to tear her eyes away from him. The memory of his caress kindled old flames of desire and ignited new ones. Shifting uncomfortably in the hard, wooden chair, she cursed him not for her desires, but for the painful choice she had to make where he was concerned.

At last, the lights came up amid a series of claps and whistles. Ethan strode off stage and headed in her direction. Breathe, damn it. Her entire body tensed, bracing for the feel of his fingers heated by the vibrations of the keys grazing her skin.

An amorous pang clamped her thighs shut and she pressed her lips tightly together lest the sound of unmistakable want emerge without her consent.

“Did you enjoy that?” he whispered.

Her eyes slowly closed and her body drooped. Whatever had held her upright evaporated in the heat of his breath flowing over her ear.

Science Fiction

Happy Thursday afternoon peeps. I've decided to run a contest to celebrate my upcoming release, Cyborg2150. This is my first science fiction story, and I hope anyone who reads it will receive it well. These posts are for the contest to win a $25 Amazon gift card, so please leave me a comment. I wanna see what you guys think about what I have to say!
What made me decide to write a science fiction piece?? Well, when I was a child I had a fascination with space, and all the planets. My favorite planets were Saturn and Venus. There was just something about those beautiful rings around Saturn that intrigued me so much. Now mind you, I was a little disappointed that those planets could never support life. Some are too close to the sun while others, well they're just to damned far away.

Also, I often think about what lies beyond our galaxy. Surely we aren't the only ones existing. Somewhere out there, there's another solar system like ours teaming with life. I'm quite sure. We shouldn't be so naive and cocky to believe we're the only ones. And...planets. If there are beings existing on another planet, do they look like us? What type of animals exist on these planets? Is their sun yellow like ours, or red? Hmmm

Now this story of mine originally was about a woman living in the year 2150 when men are scarce. The hero was to be a sexy cyborg and the story was only supposed to be a 15K, but somehow it blossomed into a little over 25K. See, here's another little thought. Will sex toys cease to exist in that year and be replaced with cybernetic lovers? This story has been changed around so much, it's not even funny. Honestly, I could have gone in several different directions and can create another book or two from this.

Cyborg2150 is based lightly on how some people perceive our future. Right now we can only entertain some thoughts about our planet and life on it. Will we exist as human or part cyborg? Will we somehow allow technology and machines to take over? Yeah, I watch Discovery Channel from time to time and the stuff they have on their just captures my attention.

Imagine a world where we no longer have newspapers, plants, and the human population has drastically dwindled from what it is now due to disease, famine, or any other disaster you can think of. It's scary, isn't it?

What if we were to become mere cattle to cyborgs? Are cyborgs evil, or are they as evil as the one who created them? What do you think? Can cyborgs love? Would there be some shadow of the person that existed before they became a cyborg?

Do you think our so-called civilized world is supposed to be the way it is now? I mean, we've come so far in our technology, but unfortunately we have really screwed our planet up. When Earth is no longer inhabitable or we need to leave it for some reason like being overrun by aliens or cyborgs (LMAO) and there was a planet that could sustain life, would you go or submit to those who wish to enslave you? Think about this though. Starting all over from scratch, no technology, absolutely nothing! NO television, I'm talking right down to living off the land, and the planet is healthy.

Okay, that's all I'm posting about today. I'll post again tomorrow and talk a little more about Joe and Dana. Cyborg2150 is an erotic romance based purely on fantasy. Or is it? Seriously though, I just wanted to create a nice world for my characters to play in. The story really focuses on Joe and Dana's relationship.

Also, please don't forget to leave your comments!!

Guest Blogger Nikki Prince

Good morning and Happy Monday to you! Today my guest blogger is Nikki Prince. Nikki's new release, Demon Mine was released from Evernight Publishing on September 12. Let me tell you, the story is simply hawt!

* * *
Nikki's Bio:

Nikki Prince is a mother of two, who's always had a dream to be a published author in the romance genre. Her passion lies in raising her children as readers, gaming, cooking, reading and her writing. Her mother can now breathe easy about the child who used to get in trouble because she was hiding books everywhere and reading when it wasn't appropriate. She loves to write Interracial romances in all genres, but wants to let everyone know to not box her in, because there is always room for growth.

Blurb:

Samael is a fallen angel doomed to repeat his life and love for Liliana Jackson over and over again. That is until she finally remembers who she is and the reason for the curse that has befallen them both. For you see, Liliana was once Lilith the first wife of Adam and the lover of Samael.  Are they doomed to keep repeating the past? Or will there be a new future for the reincarnated lovers?

Steamy Excerpt:

Liliana Jackson sat on the bed in the darkened room. Her breath was ragged as she eagerly waited for her lover to arrive. The need she felt was always instant when she thought of him. The slightest movement of cloth from her sundress scraping over her hard nipples tortured her as her bare pussy dampened. She glanced at the small clock on the wall opposite her bed. It would be only a matter of minutes before he stepped across the threshold.

She tried to be patient and wait. She let out a whimper, trying her best to wait for him, but failing. Slowly, she slipped her dress up her thighs, baring her shaved pussy to the air in the room, parting her legs while she leaned back onto the pillows; her fingers teased along her slit in one smooth stroke. She slid two fingers around her wet entrance, and then leisurely teased her clit. Liliana inched one, then two fingers inside of her drenched folds with a moan. She rocked her hips to push them in deeper as her head fell back against the pillow.

She groaned once more as she neared orgasm. One without him. He'd want to punish her, and she'd welcome it. She loved it when he acted all badass around her. In fact, she wanted it. Even as independent as she had always been, she needed his commanding presence, lust and strength. It fueled all of those things within her as well. His needs fed her needs. Her eyes moved to the door. She grinned. There he stood, leaning against the doorjamb, arms crossed over his muscled chest. He looked angry—the edges of his mouth turned down and narrowed eyes fixed on her undulating body.

“Hello, lover.” Her words were a raspy purr of arousal.

Samael, her lover and the object of her lusts, filled the doorway with his presence. Samael, with his lithe, muscular body, tattoos on his arms, long, dark hair that fell past his shoulders, and when angry, eyes so dark they were fathomless against his paler skin. He was her dark demon, the possessor of her very being, her soul. He continued to stand there, arms crossed over his chest. Samael’s dark eyes turned hazel as they slowly traveled her body to focus on her fingers, which continued to thrust in and out of her pussy. The change in eye color was a sure sign of his rising lust, a hue she was well acquainted with and wanted … no, craved to see.

"I ordered you to wait, Lili." She heard the impatience in his voice.

Biting back a small moan, she arched her back up off the bed, her eyes still connected with his as her fingers curled to stroke her g-spot.

"You order me to do a lot of things, Sami. I don't always listen."

He gave a low warning snarl. A groan from her was the response he received. He hated when she shortened his name from Samael to Sami. Her eyes moved down his body with leisure, exploring every nuance that made up the fabulous male standing before her. The black t-shirt fit his muscled form well, along with the black jeans that did little to hide his huge hard-on.

"You protest, yet your cock is enjoying the attention I'm giving myself. Seeing as you were late, I thought it would be okay to start without you. Honestly, do you think I would rather have your cock or my fingers?" All the while, her fingers continued to plunge into her tight core, her legs bent on the bed as she arched her back. She splayed her legs out before him so that he saw every thrust.

"Lili, you're just begging to be spanked." She shivered and ran her tongue over her bottom lip. His words sparked more need than fear. His approach was leisurely as he watched her continue to pleasure herself. She moved her free hand between her spread thighs and tugged at her clit. "Stop your fingers now. Remove them or you'll not get what you want from me."

With measured deliberation, Liliana pulled her fingers from her pussy. Keeping her eyes on Samael, she slowly, teasingly licked them clean. His eyes narrowed, and Liliana smirked. "You didn't say I couldn't taste."

"Remove the fucking dress, Lili. Do it quickly, or you will not get a chance to come as you need to. Then get your pretty little ass on your knees and hold on to the headboard." His words quickly wiped the smirk off her face. She didn't say anything as she got to her knees and slipped the sundress off, tossing it to the floor. With one last look of feigned defiance, she turned to settle on her knees with her hands clutched to the headboard. The rustling of his clothing filled the otherwise silent room, and then they were skin to skin. His cock, hard and throbbing, pushed against the crease of her ass as his body pressed close to hers from behind.

Her breath caught in anticipation of his touching her as she craved. She did not say a word. If Liliana tested him, he would follow through on not letting her come. That could not happen; she wanted him bad. A soft mewl slipped from her lips as the head of his cock stroked along her dripping entrance. Her hands tightened on the headboard when he pressed into her. His lips were only an inch from her ear as he spoke with what could only be devilish delight.

My Fitness Goal

Well, Monday marks the eighth week of my exercise regimen. I started this a few weeks before we went off to Indianapolis for the MotoGP. Which reminds me, I still need to post some of the motorcycle pics.

Anyway, I'm quite pleased with the results I've been seeing. In the past four years, I've put on fifteen pounds. I've always been into exercise, but sometimes you just fall of the wagon, you know? My body was the way I wanted it, nice and firm until I started going to school. Back then I was working the 9-5 office gig and going to school four nights a week. At first I was doing well, but then three months into the program I started eating out of vending machines and nibbling at home when I stayed up late to study or write. Needless to say I stopped exercising. But hey, I was able to get away with this behavior for two years. I'd exercise on and off, but nothing like I was used to doing.

My metabolism has changed and I'm now 41. Hell, it started slowing up when I hit 30, but not quite as bad. I've realized I can't get away with murder like I used to. Oh and the recent knee surgery one of my family members went through made me wake up. You see, diabetes, high blood pressure and bad hips and knees run in our family. After seeing my auntie struggling through physical therapy, I decided it was high time for me to get off my ass and start moving again. I want to be fit throughout my mind, body and soul and I'm enjoying how exercise makes me feel.

I was posting when I exercised each day on my Facebook status, but then I figured no one wants to hear about this on a daily basis.  ; ) So, I've been posting once or twice a week along with my greeting. Today I had one of the readers say how much I've inspired her to get back into her exercise routine. So you know, that makes me feel good, that I could inspire someone to do that.

These past few days have been a little tough. The season has changed and I usually get lazy around this time of year. In  the morning, I like waking up at 4 a.m. to get in the exercise and do my daily prayer and meditation. Thursday and Friday I was lagging and did my exercises after my daughter was off to school. My circadian rhythm has been affected by the seasonal change, and I just want to hibernate. I find it's harder for me to just jump out of bed in the morning, so now it's going to be a bit of an uphill battle for me.

So, I've ordered the Insanity Workout a few weeks back and I think maybe a few weeks from now I'll start this. Currently I'm doing the Brazilian Buttlift, and before that I was doing TaeBo. It's always good to switch up your workout regimen to challenge your muscles. You never want your body to get used to your workouts, that defeats the purpose.

Anyway, I'm a little nervous about the Insanity program. TaeBo is intense, it challenges the body, especially when you do the 90 minute workout. Brazilian Buttlift is awesome too, and a lot of fun. It reshapes the muscles that aren't utilized on a daily basis, so that's a good thing. I just wonder if I'm up for the challenge of Insanity. I'll just take my time and start out slow if I have a little difficulty. I refuse to give up. I'm not one that gives up easily. For those of you whom I inspire to exercise! Awesome, because I'm going to post on those days when I'm totally not feeling like doing anything!

I'll keep you all posted, and I promise to blog on a regular basis now. I've had a few of you followers email and say, hey! What's up with you? Woman Blog! I'm not following you for nothing.

Okay, off to watch the Ravens.  Please God! Let them whip the Patriots!!!!   ; p

Denying Bjorn

Denying Bjorn is a small spin off from my last release, Claiming Julia. A lot of the readers were pushing for me to give Bjorn his own story and I just couldn't resist. Honestly, I have to admit that I was swooning over Bjorn when I started writing his story. He's a very special hero.   ; )

The release date for this one is October 12th. I know it's a bit early, but I've already started writing a third story because there are some small details I need to tie up regarding a small subject. I really never intended for this one to become a series, but my muse has taken over. In the third book I plan to bring back Angus, Julia, Bjorn, and Lydia.

Denying Bjorn Blurb:

Bjorn Jensen has fulfilled his destiny by overseeing the well-being of his Dragon Lord. For centuries, he’s led a lonely existence as a Protector, but now he’s forced to take a long, hard look at his life.

Lydia has strong feelings for Bjorn, but she’s not ready to trust him with her secret. As their relationship develops, she continues to deny him the truth. Between her meddlesome cousin and a threat from her past, she realizes the odds are against her, and the skeletons in her closet could cost her and Bjorn the happiness they’ve been waiting for all their lives.
